l truly enjoyed this movie. I mean some people would say that this was a "chick flick" but I totally disagree. This was a fine movie, very well produced, acted and directed. The movie was so good, that I found myself very surprised.

I was so blown away by Emily Blunt's acting. She was so so good. I knew she was good from having seen "Devil Wears Prada" (another very highly recommended film). But I did not know that she was at this caliber and level. I mean, this movie and acting is in the same category as "Julie and Julia". One of my favorites in 2009. I say that the best picture should have not been considering "The Hurt Locker" or "Avatar". Those movies were okay, but certainly not so well acted, produced and directed as either "Young Victoria" or "Julie and Julia". Anyway, I am getting away from the topic.

I am so glad that I've gotten around to see this movie. This is a very good, well acted, well written and a real feel good movie for the times that we are living today. This movie is a a category of very well produced movies like "When Harry Met Sally", "What Women Want", "Sense and Sensibility", "Out of Africa" , and my favorite "Breakfast at Tiffanys". Hooray for Victoria...!

My favorite movie all time is "Breakfast At Tiffany's". It is an iconic and quintessential movie about New York City. I knew many people like the characters in this movie. But this movie is about love. About how people run into each other like two atomic particles in a maze of millions of particles in New York and then for some reason find each other and fall in love against all odds. The love scenarios in the movie is so complicated. Sometimes life is like that... The sweet combination of seriousness and comedy was played to perfection by Audrey Hepburn in her best role. This movie has the two of the best looking movie stars in their prime of all time: Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard. They, separately, were in many other movies, but looked best together in this movie. Audrey Hepburn is in all sorts of Givenchy dresses. I understand that the main dress that she wore in the opening scene of the movie where she gets out of a taxi in front of Tiffany's at 57th and 5th to look at the window sold at an auction for nearly $1 million. The movie came out in 1961. It was produced and directed by Blake Edwards of the "Pink Panther" fame. The book was by Truman Capote who also wrote "In Cold Blood". Henry Mancini music is throughout the movie. So nice... I must have seen this dozens of times. I love it. I recommend this highly to everyone. Remember "Moon River"...

I was just going over my collection of movies and I just decided to write about some of the funniest movies I know...

Two of my favorite funny movies are Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre. I mean literally, the guys that made those two movies are absolutely out of their minds. These movies are so funny because they are so unconventional and they push the edge of accepted comedy. They are also funny because the stuff that happens in the movies are actual things that happen to us nerds in real life. We are like laughing at ourselves and those like us. Well I surely laughed my butt off at many scenes in both of these movies.

I'm a guy so these comedies work with me. I think the ladies would think otherwise and say that these movies are silly and childish. Well I clearly disagree. The silliness and childishness are intentional as its genre of comedy. These movies are ground-breaking state of the art comedy for which there are no comparison. Obviously, I like the movies very much...

Other mentionables are Dumb and Dumber, Animal House, Airplane, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and I also like Anchor Man.

I saw two movies recently so different from each other. The Hangover and Julie and Julia. Both movies were so good... They were the epitome of their genre. I loved both of them.

Julie and Julia should win the best movie award of the year. Amy Adams is amazing. She is such a great actor. I haven't seen a better since Meryl Streep. Oops...! Meryl Streep is in the movie too! Wow... What a double delight! Two awesome actors in the same movie. They were both so good... They were just complimenting each other through their best performances through the whole movie. I recommend very highly. Lovely movie for the whole family. Best picture, direction, and two actresses...

The Hangover is by far the most crude humor movie of the year. It is crude but it's awfully funny and it has Iron Mike Tyson. Man, it's hilarious, if you have the stomach for the kind of humor. Some completely out of their minds writers went completely berserk and had a brainstorming meeting to come out with this wacky movie. It's so rated R. R for raving maniac. I loved it. It's so outrageously imaginative in their crude humor. Only thing is that Heather Graham did not fit in the movie. She's too good looking and intelligent looking for the role. But she's great eye candy. The chinese guy from the show Community is in this. Some awkward scenes, and by far this is not a perfect movie, but it is really funny adult crude humor way. For those that enjoy this genre, I recommend highly.
